Milan Barbitch strives for a place in the Liga Endesa
After a season exploring European basketball in Greece and Poland, Milan Barbitch is now setting his sights on Spain. The former Nanterre player (1.96m, 24 years old) will participate in the preseason with BC Morabanc Andorra. This club, from the principality of Andorra, narrowly avoided relegation in the Liga Endesa last season. Barbitch's objective is to earn a contract for the 2026-2027 season.
Having trained at INSEP before making his professional debut with Paris Basketball, Yann Barbitch's son made his mark in the Betclic Elite with Fos-sur-Mer, Blois, and then Nanterre, averaging 9.3 points and 3.2 assists in 20 minutes during the 2024-2025 season, before seeking opportunities abroad.
His progress was hindered by a knee injury at the start of last season with the Greek club Kolossos Rhodes, where he averaged 5.0 points and 4.2 assists in 20 minutes. He found his form again in Poland with Arka Gdynia towards the end of the season, averaging 12.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 6.2 assists for a valuation of 14.3, notably reaching the local championship semifinals.
